In a key move to enhance the firm’s ability to serve its customers, The Energists added Jason Grable to its Tall Trees Talent subsidiary in the role of Principal.
At Tall Trees, Jason will deepen the firm’s reach across finance, accounting, and operations within infrastructure, manufacturing, and energy sectors. In keeping with the firm’s philosophy, Jason’s foundation is industry-deep—his transition into recruiting was built on years of leadership in finance and operations.
After graduating from Texas State with a BBA in Accounting and Finance, he embarked upon a career that saw him develop from his first job as an analyst through SOX auditing, cash management all the way to corporate treasurer. It was at that point he pivoted to recruiting, spending six years at Robert Half, ultimately rising to the role of Assistant Vice President.
Over the past 15 years, Jason has partnered with CFOs, private equity firms, and many notable high-growth companies to address their talent needs across finance, accounting, tax, audit, and operational leadership. Working on projects in various geographic locations, Jason has an intrinsic network and expert level of knowledge in his area of specialization. His approach to recruiting has always been to focus on being a true partner to clients and a trusted advisor to candidates.
A native Houstonian, outside of the office, Jason spends most of his free time with his better half and two growing sons, who are actively involved in baseball and soccer. Aside from spending time with his family, you will find Jason participating in various extracurricular pursuits, including woodworking activities and remodeling projects.
“We are very happy to have Jason aboard Tall Trees Talent; he brings a great deal of domain and process expertise to the firm. Specifically, Jason will deepen our reach across financial and operational leadership within manufacturing, infrastructure, and energy. We have known him for some time, and his ability to bring clarity, speed, and long-game thinking to every project helps consolidate our group’s position in the market.”
